Booking & Appointments

How do I book an appointment?

You can book online through our website, call us, our social media platforms or visit in person to schedule your treatment, although our reception is unmanned at times.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

All treatments require a deposit or the full payment amount to secure your booking. This will be confirmed at the time of booking.

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations will result in a 50% fee and ‘no shows’ 100% fee.

Can I request a specific therapist?

Yes, we do our best to accommodate requests for a preferred therapist.

What if I’m running late for my appointment?

Please let us know as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to accommodate you, but your treatment time may be shortened to avoid delaying other clients.

What do I need to do to get a refund for a cancellation?

When you cancel your booking the money automatically sits in your Chakra account as credit for you next appointment. However, if you prefer to have a refund then please contact us via phone or email to request one and a member of staff will process this for you. Our booking does not have authorization to ‘auto-refund’.

Miscellaneous

Can I bring a friend or child to my appointment?

For a relaxing experience, we recommend coming alone, but some treatments may allow a companion in the room. As much as we love children, our clinic is not suitable for little ones as sound does travel in our little space of Sanctuary.

Do you offer group bookings or spa packages?

Yes! We can arrange group treatments for special occasions. Contact us for details. Please allow plenty of notice as we are a small business and we do get very busy with regular bookings.

What if I have allergies or medical conditions?

We always as part of ‘Code of Practice’ protocol, carry out patch tests a minimum of 48 hours prior to your appointment for some of our beauty treatments. You will also be required to complete a consultation health questionnaire prior to starting your treatment. Please inform us of any allergies, medical conditions, or medications before your appointment so we can tailor your treatment safely.

Do you have parking nearby?

Yes! We have a good size 2 hour free parking opposite the clinic with unlimited free parking on the rest of Ford Park Road. The surrounding residential avenues are only restricted parking between 12.00 – 3pm and again free. Note: Please leave plenty of traveling time as these roads do get busier at certain times of the day.

Where can I leave a review to share my experience at Chakra?

On your first visit, you will receive one txt with a link to our Google page where you can write your feedback or review or you can go to Google directly. Alternatively, you can also head to our social media platforms Facebook or Instagram.

Which facial/treatment is best for my skin type?

Our trained professionals can assess your skin and recommend the best treatment during a consultation.

Are your treatments suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes! We offer a variety of gentle and soothing treatments designed for sensitive skin. Let us know about any skin concerns before your appointment.

Do you offer treatments for men?

Absolutely! Many of our facials, massages, and grooming treatments are suitable for all genders.

How often should I have a facial or massage?

This depends on your skin type and goals, but generally, facials are recommended every 4–6 weeks and massages as needed for relaxation or muscle relief.

Are your products cruelty-free or vegan?

We offer a selection of cruelty-free products but sometimes not Vegan. Please ask our team for recommendations.

Hygiene & Safety

How do you ensure hygiene and cleanliness?

We follow strict sanitation protocols, including sterilizing equipment, using disposable tools where necessary, and maintaining a clean environment.

Can I have a treatment if I’m pregnant?

Yes! We offer pregnancy-safe treatments, but please let us know in advance so we can adjust products and techniques accordingly. Note: our Pregnancy Massage is from 12 weeks / 2nd Trimester.

Do I need to remove my makeup before my facial?

No, our facials include a deep cleanse to remove makeup and impurities.

Payment & Policies

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and online digital payment methods.

Do you offer gift vouchers?

Yes! Gift vouchers are available for any amount or specific treatments and very popular with our customers.

Do you have a loyalty program?

As a gesture of our appreciation for loyalty, we offer a rewards program for returning clients. Ask about our Rewards Scheme to benefit from regular discounts when investing in well earned selfcare treatments. The more you spend the more money you save!
